I think that the most beneficial comments I got from my peers were about my MLA format, and I how I introduced my paper and my paragraphs. They helped me with my introduction and conclusion, which is what I have always struggled with. I found it very helpful to have others look over your work before it gets graded. They helped to point out logical fallacies within the writing, which I wouldn’t have noticed unless they helped review it with me. I wish that we gathered as a group before writing the paper. I think if we communicated how we wanted our paper to feel and what we wanted it to say, peer review would’ve been more beneficial. I was able to assist my peers in proofreading, which I hope was helpful to them. Proofreading has been one of my favorite things to do to help my peers. It was very different from high school, as we made more of an effort to actually try and help the essay. In high school, the comments mostly consisted of, “Nice quote. Typo here.” However, we were able to make larger comments about the essay as a whole.
